Pluma Migrant Writers Guild. "Write to be heard."

Tiredness

Oh the trap of tiredness
The dull front of pain
The fog of bad mood
Life a mess.

For how long must I subject myself
Or is it a punishment I inflict on others?
A hatred so profound I could poison myself
If it meant the poison, too, was theirs?
